Rugby has been played for some time on Curacao, formerly by the navy who put together for visiting British navy ships and recently organized by the College of the Dutch Caribbean(CDC). CDC has a PE teachers training college with Rugby in their curriculum, so they set up a tournament. 10-5-2009 was the first rugby tournament ever to take place. Within 5 weeks there was the second, and now it's organized.
